Brazilian Skills academy is as a specialized Skills Academy. We present a player’s-oriented program deeply rooted in the distinctive style of Brazilian football. The methodology of training program has demonstrated its efficacy in fostering rapid technical development among players, thanks to our innovative coaching methods and the integration of specialized equipment.

Comprising three integral stages the Foundation phase, Club phase, and High Performance phase our program is designed to provide a comprehensive and progressive pathway for players to excel and reach their full potential.

  • TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

    Founder of BSA, Ronaldo Cota brings with him an impressive legacy of 25 years in coaching. Serving as the co-creator of our renowned training program, Ronaldo has played a pivotal role in shaping the developmental landscape. His expertise extends to the global stage, having successfully placed over 40 players into professional clubs around the world, a testament to his profound impact on the footballing community.

    As the co-founder of BSA, Kelvin Cota brings a wealth of experience with a dedicated focus on youth football development spanning a decade. Currently holding the position of head coach for the under 14s at Stellenbosch FC, Kelvin boasts both national and international coaching exposure. His leadership as CEO reflects a commitment to the holistic growth of young talents within our academy.

  • FACILITY MANAGER

    With 8 years dedicated to youth football development, Welisson Agostinho serves as both the Facility Manager and head coach of the under 12s at Stellenbosch FC. His extensive experience includes engagements at the national and international levels, further enhancing the caliber of coaching and management within our esteemed academy.

    Christopher Njokwana, an illustrious figure in the football community, holds the title of Africa Freestyler Champion and Guinness Book World Record Holder. His expertise extends beyond accolades, serving as a ball mastery coach. Christopher brings a unique skill set and passion for the game, enriching the coaching team and contributing to the excellence of our football programs.

The organisation has successfully cemented a distinguished presence in football development, with an ongoing commitment to extend this impact.

    Within the realm of Academy Members, our skills training program currently maintains an active enrolment of 250 players.


    Our operational footprint extends to the locales of Sunningdale, Bothasig, Somerset West, Buritis and Carlos Prates. Notably, our endeavours achieve an average weekend outreach of 400 individuals at the fields, indicative of the consistent and meaningful engagement realised each weekend.
